Training in rubber processing and quality control

The Rubber Board organizes a five-day training programme in processing and quality control of rubber at Rubber Training Institute, Kottayam from 11 to 15 January 2016. The course content includes composition of natural rubber latex, latex collection and preservation, processing of sheet rubber, grading, solid block rubber, testing of block rubber and cenex, concentration of preserved latex, effluent treatment and pollution control. The training is intended for rubber dealers, growers, entrepreneurs and consumers. Medium of instruction is English. The fee for training is Rs.2000 (14.5 per cent service tax extra). For boarding and lodging facility, Rs. 250/- will be charged extra per day per participant. SC/ST candidates will be given fifty per cent concession in fee on production of caste certificate.
The payment may be made by money order or demand draft drawn in favour of Director (Training), Rubber Board, Kottayam-9, Kerala payable at Kottayam. Application on white paper along with fee may be forwarded to Director (Training), Rubber Training Institute, Rubber Board PO, Kottayam-686 009, Kerala State. The fee can also be paid direct to Account No.1450300184 of Central Bank of India (IFS Code-CBIN 0284156). In that case the copy of the bank receipt should be enclosed with the application.
