Programme on rubber cultivation through FM Radio started

Smt. Sheela Thomas, Chairman, Rubber Board inaugurated the broadcast of a programme on rubber cultivation in 90.8 Radio Media Village FM Radio Station, an allied organization of St. Joseph College of Communication, Changanassery. The programme is broadcast in association with the Rubber Board. Programme on rubber cultivation through FM channel is a landmark in the field of rubber extension, said, Chairman while inaugurating the programme. She also gave away the award for the best grower to Sri. James Kalluveli, selected by the FM station in the function.
Dr. Thomas. J, Rubber Production Commissioner, in his key note address said that every media including FM radio has definite role in the field of communication, and the broadcast on rubber cultivation through Radio Media Village FM station will definitely help the rubber grower.
Rev.Father Antony Ethakkadu (Academic Director, St. Joseph College of Communication, Changanacherry) presided over the meeting. Smt. Rakhi Kalesh (President, Vazhapally Grama Panchayath), Sri. D. Anil Kumar (Jt. Rubber Production Commissioner), Smt. P.V. Claramma (Dy. Rubber Production Commissioner) and K. Vipin Raj (Programme Officer, Radio Media Village) also spoke on the occasion.
The broadcast started on 2 December 2013 will continue on all Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 6 pm in the ongoing programme ‘ Mannum Manushyanum’ of the FM Radio station.
