The Rubber Board organizes a five-day training in rubber cultivation at Rubber Training Institute at Kottayam from July 30 to 3 August 2012. The course content includes modern planting materials, planting techniques, manuring, pest and disease control, maintenance of cover crops, rainguarding, tapping and latex processing. The medium of instruction is English. The training fee is Rs.1,750/- (12.36% service tax extra). SC/ST candidates will be given fifty per cent concession in fee on production of caste certificate.
The training is intended for rubber growers and owners, managers and employees of estates.
The payment may be made by money order or demand draft drawn in favour of Director (Training), Rubber Board payable at Kottayam. Application on white paper along with fee may be forwarded to Director (Training), Rubber Training Institute, Rubber Board PO, Kottayam 686 009. The fee can also be paid direct to Account No.1450300184 of Central Bank of India (IFC Code-CBIN 0284156). In that case the copy of the bank receipt should be enclosed with the application.
