The Rubber Board organizes a five-day training in rubber cultivation at Rubber Training Institute at Kottayam from 10 to 14 October 2011. The course content includes modern planting materials, planting techniques, manuring, pest and disease control, tapping and latex processing. The medium of instruction is Malayalam. The training fee is `1250/- (Rupees one thousand two hundred and fifty only). SC/ST candidates will be given fifty per cent concession in fee on production of caste certificate.
The payment may be made by money order or demand draft drawn in favour of Director (Training), Rubber Board payable at Kottayam. Application on white paper along with fee may be forwarded to Director (Training), Rubber Training Institute, Rubber Board P.O., Kottayam-686 009, Kerala.
