Board call centre to answer queries on Controlled Upward Tapping

Controlled Upward Tapping (CUT) is a system of tapping by which yield from old and uneconomical rubber plantations can be increased up to 50 per cent. Rubber growers can contact the Board Call Centre on 28 December 2016 from 10 am to 1 pm to know more about this system. Dr. K.U. Thomas, Joint Director, Rubber Research Institute of India who has led the research in this field will answer the queries. Call centre number is 0481 – 2576622.
The Call Centre service of the Board is available from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on all working days. Information about the services of the Board and also technical advice regarding cultivation, production, processing etc. of rubber can be regularly sought from this Centre which is functioning at Rubber Board Head Office, Kottayam.
