| Since there is no evidence to relate any biotic cause to TPD occurrence at present, the spreading of TPD through the tapping knife was not suspected. However, our recent investigations showing the presence of a low molecular weight RNA in association with TPD trees. Therefore an experiment is in progress to verify if TPD is spread through the tapping knife. |
