| The work has been attempted in many countries to replace manual tapping. It may be noted that, bark thickness of trees in a block, varies considerably. A skilled tapper can tap the trees, as per the bark thickness, without injuring the cambium, whereas as a machine cannot. A machine however cannot replace the efficiency of skilled tapper. |
